The course was designed by Kurt Rossknecht, a renowned golf course designer who left his mark on numerous appreciated courses the world over. Among golfing facilities, visitors will find a 72 par 6325 meter course with 18 holes along with a 6 hole training course, a training area which offers pitching, chipping and putting zones as well as a 300 meter driving range. The main course stretches on 6 hectares of land and incorporates wooded zones as well as lakes.
To offer a challenge to both beginners and professional players, the course is riddled with water hazards and perfectly placed sand bunkers, increasing the satisfaction of all future members.

The Bucharest Golf and Country Club is located in the Western part of the city, on the Zurbaua Chitila border, just south of Buftea Forest. You can access the grounds by two routes, the first being the Bucurestii Noi – Chitila – Sabareni – Zurbaua while the second takes your through Militari District – the Bucharest Ring Road – Dragomiresti – Zurbaua. An access route directly from Bucharest’s ring road is currently being built and should be available soon. Driving to the Bucharest Golf and Country Club should be a breeze, regardless of weather or congested highways as it is located a mere 25 km from Bucharest’s center, Unirii Sqaure.
